Mercamadrid manages the Central Fish Market of Madrid. It works with 180 operational companies that sells 140.000 Tm/year and more than 150 species of fish and seafood. The Mercamadrid Fish Ship is the first over the world which has an extensive variety of species to commercialize and the second one in capacitance.

Mercamadrid provides a Training Centre with activity licence and certificates of professionalism in process of homologation.
