The Employment Agency is a Public Administration with 297 workers that manages the employment policies of the City of Madrid.
The specific activities of the Employment Agency are:
1. Individual customer service:

2. Training and employment:
a. Vocational training to achieve employment
b. Training-employment mixed programmes (similar to on-the-job training)
c. Works, services programmes and employment workshops.
d. Theoretical-practical training, compensatory education, labour counselling,
e. Ooccupational hazard prevention, environmental awareness and computer literacy modules.

The Employment Agency has been awarded EFQM 400 (excellence model). The Employment Agency develops series of actions and measures for guiding, employment and training unemployed to improve their access opportunities to enter into the labour market, either as employees or self-employed.
The people involved in this project possess broad experience both in labour orientatio in designing, implementing and carrying out training itineraries. Besides, they have good communication skills, a lot of drive and high common sense.
